Parent Advice

Being a parent is an amazing job however it can also be tough at times! At Stanford we are proud to have a number staff with a wide range of skills and experience who can offer help and advice when needed.

Claire Campbell is our Pastoral Leader who is available to offer advice and support on a wide range of areas to our children and their families. You can arrange to meet her at the start and end of the school day by contacting the school office or alternatively you can leave a message for Claire to call you to speak things through.  All things discussed are treated sensitively and Claire is able to offer practical and moral support on most matters or give you the information you need.

Things include:

  • Parenting strategies such as toilet training and establishing routines
  • Food vouchers
  • Bereavement and separation advice and support
  • Concerns around your child's well-being at school or home
  • Accessing services for support in housing, finance and medical matters

Claire is also available weekly at 'Chill and Chat' where families can access friendship and support from each other.  We are currently running at Stanford the weekly 'Parent Gym' course.  For more information please contact Claire.
