Welcome from the Headteacher
Stanford Primary School is a small, welcoming school in Norbury, tucked away in Chilmark Road. With just one form of entry of up to 30 children joining our Reception Class each year, our children enjoy our large, green site which includes extensive play areas, a playing field and a gated woodland area. Inside we have both a large school hall and a sports hall which helps us offer excellent opportunities for our children to play and enjoy sports and activities.
We teach the National Curriculum and are rigorous in our approach to establishing core skills in English and Maths, including supporting those whose first language is not English. We believe that a rich and varied primary school experience is right for children, so daily school life features a wide range of activities including music, art and visits outside school. We enjoy warm relationships with our community and offer strong pastoral support to all of our families.
We have a nursery for pre-school children offering 15 or 30 hours per week during term time. We offer wraparound care on-site from 7.30am to 6.00pm with our breakfast and after- school clubs run by Kids’ City.
This is an exciting time to be joining our school. Stanford has recently joined the PACE Academy Trust, which has a track record of promoting excellence in all of its schools.
If you think Stanford could be the school for your child, we would love to meet with you!
